Who we are:
We are Coaches Tara McClean and Robby Robertson, and in our golf program we believe that we have a duty to our youth to coach beyond the fairways through character building life experiences.
We are taking a group of high school golfers to Scotland to compete in the World Schools Golf Invitational. We are so honored and humbled to announce we are the first United States team ever invited to compete. Our team has earned the opportunity to travel to the birthplace of golf and represent not just our school, but our country. Imagine being 15, 16 or 17 years old and stepping onto historic Scottish fairways knowing you are there as a representative of the United States. That moment changes a young person. It perhaps could be the keystone to greatness for some...
For our players, this isn’t just a tournament. It’s perspective. It’s growth. It’s maturity. It’s realizing the world is bigger than their neighborhood and that they belong on an international stage. This trip exposes them to different cultures, higher standards, and global competition. It shows them what is possible when preparation meets opportunity. We are raising funds to ensure that every deserving player can go, not just those whose families can afford international travel.
